Reporting a Factual Error
Accuracy is important to us, and we welcome legitimate corrections.
If you believe you’ve found inaccurate information in one of our articles, please include the article title or page URL, the specific information you believe should be reviewed, and, when possible, a reputable source supporting the correction. Our corrections and review process provides additional context about how published information is reviewed and corrected.
Bird information can sometimes vary by geographic location, season, age, sex, individual behavior, or other circumstances. For that reason, receiving a correction request does not necessarily mean the information will automatically be changed.
We will review legitimate concerns and make corrections or clarifications when appropriate.
You can learn more about this process on our Editorial Standards page.
Content Suggestions
Have an idea that could make Bird Resource more useful?
We’re happy to consider suggestions for future articles, improvements to existing guides, useful resources, or bird-related subjects that may deserve additional coverage.
Please understand that submitting an idea does not guarantee that we will publish content about it or respond individually.
If you have specialized knowledge, original photographs, research, field observations, or other information that could legitimately improve one of our articles, you’re also welcome to reach out.
Please don’t send copyrighted material that you do not own or have permission to share.

We are not interested in spammy link exchanges, bulk guest-post offers, paid link schemes, unrelated promotions, or other arrangements intended primarily to manipulate search rankings.

What We Cannot Help With
Bird Resource is a blog and informational publication. We are not a one-on-one bird advice or identification service.
Because of this, please do not use our contact form to ask us to identify a bird, review bird photographs for identification, answer personal bird questions, provide individualized bird-care advice, or troubleshoot a specific wildlife situation. You can find answers to common questions about BirdResource.com and the resources available on the site.
Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to those requests.
Instead, we encourage you to explore the identification guides, species information, behavior articles, and other resources available throughout BirdResource.com.
As the website grows, our goal is to answer an increasingly large number of common bird questions directly through our published content.
Injured, Sick, or Distressed Birds
Please do not contact Bird Resource for a wildlife emergency.
BirdResource.com is not a wildlife rehabilitation center, veterinary practice, animal rescue organization, government wildlife agency, or emergency service. These limitations are also explained in our Terms of Use and Disclaimer.
We cannot evaluate an injured or sick bird by email, provide veterinary treatment instructions, arrange wildlife rescue, or dispatch someone to assist an animal.
If you believe a wild bird is injured, sick, orphaned, trapped, or otherwise in immediate distress, seek assistance from an appropriate licensed wildlife rehabilitator, veterinarian when appropriate, animal-control authority, or relevant local or state wildlife agency.
Do not delay appropriate assistance while waiting for a response from Bird Resource.
